Anal Beads
A string of small balls on a string. Designed to be inserted into the anus and pulled out to create sexual stimulation.
Ben-Wa Balls
A pair of large marbles with ball bearings inside that roll around and create vibrations when inserted into the vagina
Blow-Up Doll
A life-size doll often sold as a novelty, but for use as a surrogate partner
Butt Plug
A dildo designed for insertion into the anus. Usually has a broad base to prevent it from going in too far.
Bullet
A tiny vibrator meant to be inserted in the vagina
Butterfly
A vibrator that is designed to be worn against the body.
Clitoral Stimulator
A toy that comes in contact with the clitoris and stimulates it. A variety of clitoral stimulators are available: strap-on "butterflies," dildos or vibrators and penis rings with clitoral extensions.
Cock Ring
A strap that is placed around the base of the penis to promote firmer erections.
Dildo
Any object used for sexual stimulation (via insertion).
Double Dildo (Double Dong)
A double-ended dildo. Can be used by two people simultaneously.
Extender
Extenders allow the erect penis deeper insertion.
French Tickler
A condom with latex, plastic or rubber attachments. Should be used as a novelty only. They are not usually certified for birth control or disease prevention.
G-spot Stimulator
Any vibrator or dildo with a hooked end for G-spot stimulation.
Harness
Used to attach a strap-on.
Jelly
A rubbery material used to in the manufacture of some sex toys.
Kits
A kit containing a standard vibrator, plus various attachments that slip over it.
Latex
The rubbery plastic that is common in the manufacture of sex toys.
Lubricant
Anything applied to the skin or to a sex toy that increases its slipperiness.
Masturbator
A device used by men to help in masturbation. Often shaped like a vagina.
Nipple Clamps
Small clips designed to be attached to the nipples. They often have chains attached.
Penis Pump
A vacuum device. After inserting the penis, a suction is applied, drawing the blood into the penis, creating an erection.
Realistic
A dildo modeled after an actual penis.
Restraints
Any device used to limit movement (ie. wrist or ankle cuffs) or reduce sensory awareness (blindfolds). Often used in S&M or bondage.
Silicone
An expensive, quality material used to make high-end toys
Strap-On
A dildo or vibrator that is attached with a harness
Vibrator
Any device that uses batteries to create a vibration. Most often used by women to stimulate the clitoris.
