Voices

I close my eyes-
(inside, my heartbeat bawls,)
this sound- a surprise
so soft, so sweet-
sweet stranger,
you must be an angel.

When you speak and when you breathe
I picture your lips
softly touching me,
letting my soul dance,
holding my eyes to see
love- not at first glance.

How beautiful- it carries such sweet harmony
in itself- it carries through the air,
arrives to my heart-
your lips,
your voice
I'll keep it there.
