On a Rainy Day

you smiled
you said hi
i just stared
as time went by

you touched my face
and asked if i'm ok...
i just nodded boldly
as you turned and walked away.

your smile embedded in my memory
as it will be forever...
that's when i knew
it's either now or never

i knew it's time
to forget about the past...
so lets work together
and make our love last

i went after your shadows
running and yelling "wait!"
you turned and gave me that smile of yours
and i felt my pain fade.

together they walked
dissapearing into the rain
still hjolding hands...
may i learn to love again?!
