You werethere when storm clouds covered the sky
You were there when my broken wings couldn't fly

You were there when failure was only a breath away
You were there when all hope disappeared into the shade

You were there when the angels turned their heads in shame
You were there when no one else would give me shelter from therain

You were there when home was nowhere to be found
You were there when disaster was the only friend around

You were there when rocky mountains painted as far as I could see
You were there when no one else was there for me
