The sweetinnocence drawn from your eyes
Lifts me back up in case I slip.
I thought I was clean, I believed I was not cheated
I do not think you can understand the many times I had beendefeated
When all is lost and made to be broken
I give you my love as a souvenir token
This token of my undying love
Can call down god's angels from way above
There is coldness in the air
There is emptiness filling what is there

When broken down, all is ok, everything is right

Watch the moon as it swings with a glow

It could be false for all we know

The stem of a daisy is even pricking me
Who dares to call this innocence?
God surely taught them better sense
The sun does not shine like it used to
The trees do not blow in the wind as they usually do
The rustling of the leaves grind my teeth
The ground I walk upon falls from beneath
I am quick to jump to any occasion
I am quick to fall apart due to confusion
I am quick to waver the right to love
The right to feel
I accept the right to cry
To wash away the years that I thought were real
Everyday I try to make up for all that I lack
Everyday I must always watch my back
Who knows when payback comes calling?
