Deep Within

I hidmyself from this feeling for so long
Buried my heart deep within
Sheltered my soul from life?s beautiful song
Of a true emotion- never again
To leave an open path stemming into my life
And for you to just walk in.

I feel so helpless
Like an infant at first glimpse
When he opens his eyes- oh so innocent
I feel so humble
Like you're nothing but a dream
An illusion of perfection
That just couldn't be

You're too good to be honestly true
So sweet in all ways
My vision of excellence holds within you
And so I bow my head and pray
That this feeling which grows greater by day
Will not leave me in pain

So I put myself at risk
A risk I'm more than willing to take
Because every day we?re together
There's a new memory we make
