Together

Blue onblue, shaded, soft
gentle sea and twilight horizon.
Black and silver, deep and bright,
myriad stars and midnight space:
seamless.

The sea and sky make love,
langorously,
all night--
though they never touch;
the stars and heavens embrace eternally,
joined, even infinitely apart.

Soul to soul, I feel you in me:
two,
together in one.

No distance, no time,
nothing
can separate sea from sky,
or stars from heavens.
