Love That Hurts

I devotedmy love to someone special
whom I thought was you.
Now I regret every second of it
because you were cruel and untrue.
When you told me you never loved me
you broke my heart in two.
Every time I think of it I start to cry.
I know deep in my heart this is one thing I have to deny.
When I see your sorrowing tears fall from my eyes.
I know you know how much you hurt me
to tell me those deceiving little lies.
You led me on to you love which was all a fake.
Whenever I hear your name being called
every part of my body aches.
I can't believe I told you I loved you
you never really felt the same way.
Now, I try to forget what you've done
because I have nothing to say.
I never thought someone could think
that love is just for fun.
If you think about what you've said
you'll know all the wrong you have done.
