She Wears a Green Dress

She wearsa green dress,
green, to match her eyes
she has hidden from me

not blue,
for she is beyond that feeling
not red,
for she dares not go there

not yellow,
to compete with the sunlight
but green, to match her eyes
she keeps hidden from me
