Wake mefrom sweet paradise,
I'm dying.
You're the last thing I see,
I'm crying.
You don't have a clue what pain I'm going through...
do you?
Break my heart and tell me it's over-
nothing I can do about it.

I'm sober,
clean from the addiction that was you.
Nothing you can do about it,
it's true.
I haven't been me in years;
you've reduced me to merely tears.
Give me a head start,
I'll run away.
You want me to stay?
Maybe, someday...

Suffering is promised,
It starts with the first kiss,
(lingering around as love shifts.)
It's not right,
not fair...
I don't care.
