Trustworthy Friend

Yesterday, I went in search of a trustworthy friend,
hoping to talk about all my pains,
today, I'm still searching for that kind of girl,
tommorow I will hunt again,

They say a friend in need is a friend indeed,
but they told us a massively huge lie,
why else, am I searching for trustworthy girls,
who'll give me their shoulders to cry,

Friends, I've got, but they vanish when I'm in sorrow,
tommorow might be better I feel,
Yes, today it seemed so, time had pardoned me, I'm glad,
but only my money they're here to steal,

Poverty strikes again, I'm still searching for trust,
and a nice lady to talk with,
days and months go by lonesome,
nobody's going to take my sorry shit!!

Will I ever find this trustworthy friend, I wonder,
does such a friend even exist??
when I feel I found my trustworthy mate,
she greets me with a fist,

For me love is friendship,
and only a friend can love and trust me,
I'm afraid I'm still searching for her today...
