Celebrity Phobia or Famous People Phobia

Fear of celebrities & famous people is listed as Celebrity Phobia. Though a word for this kind of phobia has still not been added in a dictionary there have been several cases of people who suffer from this phobia.

For instance fear of Michael Jackson would be termed as Mjophobia. Similarly a celebrity phobia of Avril Lavigne would be termed Avrilophobia.

Personally I do not suffer from this phobia to an alarming extent although I definitely fear the sight of some celebrities in Hollywood. What's really funny about this phobia is that some famous people actually suffer from celebrity phobia too!!

Celebrity Phobia can be easily treated through expensive therapy sessions and you shouldn't consider it unless your fears of famous people is very high and you get panic attacks when you see one.
