Janelle's Ghost

I help babysit withmy friend ocasionally at her neighbor's house. Usually we babsitvery late because of the parent's jobs. Recently, the mother toldus about her dead sister, Janelle who died in a car crash someyears ago when she was only 20. The mother also told us thatsometimes she would hear noises from the basement and that whenthe girls were a little younger, when she would go upstairs tocheck on them they would be staring at the ceiling and sometimesthey would wave. She told us not to be scared though.

Some time later we were babysitting. The girls were in bed and wewere watching a movie. There was a baby moniter in the 1 year-old'sroom. It was turned on and suddenly we heard a voice coming fromit. It sounded like a young woman's, so we thought it wasJanelle's. We ignored it after awhile and continued on with ourmovie.

Later on, we heard the baby crying through the moniter so we wentupstairs to check on her. When we went up there, the baby'sbottle we had given here earlier had somehow been thrown acrossthe room. Also, the room temperature was very cold. Then I lookedover at the rocking chair that was in the room and it was gentlyrocking back and forth. We were totally freaked out so we ranback downstairs and finished watching the rest of the movie.About 5 minutes later, we heard another voice in the heater vent.We were very scared. I am sure that I will never babysit forthose people again, because I know that that house is haunted byJanelle's Ghost.
