Short Ghost Stories

Samoa Tale

This story which has been past on from generation to generation from parents to their kids , actually took place in the island of Samoa . Parents in the island use to tell their children not to walk or go out late at night for that is the time when all the evil spirits roam around the dark island thats covered with so many trees . There was a tale that a young guy who didnt believe in the ghost stories went riding on his bike in the middle of the night in order to get fresh air . He was riding and riding controlling the bike but suddenly felt shivers down his spine when he saw a figure standing at the side of the path that he was riding on . He kept on riding until he came across the figure to realise that it was a old lady who was signalling at him to stop . There was once a tale he had heard from a bunch of kids that a evil spirit in a form of a old lady roamed the streets preying on people in the middle of the night. They young guy got so scared just looking at the old lady calling out to him to stop that he quickly sped past the old lady in order to get away from her .

He rode in silence as fast as he could to get away from that mysterious old lady and about 2 miles away he turned around expecting to be as far as he could be from the scary crippled old lady . Just when he was about to sigh with relief seeing noone at the back of him , he looked down at his back wheels and there she was , the old lady was holding onto the back wheels of his bike looking up at him with a large smile on her face and her white face shining in the darkness .

From that day on the young guy told everyone of his story and all of his beliefs, but a few days later the young guy died in his sleep . Many believe that the young boy was possesed by the old ladies spirit leaving him to die . Nowadays young people in the islands try to be careful trying to mess around with the spirit of dead for ghost can change into many formations and yet remain a mystery to others .....
