The Retreat
i am only 13 years old when i experienced so many creepy things in our counseling since we were a graduating class. when we got there at 7:30 and it was supposed to start at 8 my friends and i decided to look and have a stroll around. my other close friend said she saw the retreat house and she said it looked creepy. i was a creepy-loving girl until i went to this retreat. my friends and i searched the place where there were statues of Jesus' imprisonment and crucifixion all in the order. when we saw a "balete" tree (a tree in the philippines known for it's huge size and legends of the things living inside it.) with a big cross on it. that was weird. if there was a cross on it it's either they're protecting things from coming in or going OUT. we were freaked out but what was more that other statues fell down and were bowing to it. the statues were big so it's impossible for them to fall unless it was forced. but why would somebody do that? and if it was an accident !
shouldn't they've put it back? five people could've lifted it up.
later at night we were all in the room talking when we heard a sound, "tick tick tick" which in the philippines is a sure sign of an evil spirit nearby. i was closest to the window where i heard the sound so my best friend offered we share the same bed (she was farthest from the window) so while i ran to her, it started again. a brave friend offered to close the window meaning she'd have to place her hand out. very creepy.
what was weirder when we were having our counselling at the chapel at about 7PM the church bell rang and many dogs howled together and flocks of birds flew which are signs in Philippine Legends that SOMETHING is near and looking for SOMEONE...
