The Retreat
i am only 13 yearsold when i experienced so many creepy things in our counselingsince we were a graduating class. when we got there at 7:30 andit was supposed to start at 8 my friends and i decided to lookand have a stroll around. my other close friend said she saw theretreat house and she said it looked creepy. i was a creepy-lovinggirl until i went to this retreat. my friends and i searched theplace where there were statues of Jesus' imprisonment andcrucifixion all in the order. when we saw a "balete"tree (a tree in the philippines known for it's huge size andlegends of the things living inside it.) with a big cross on it.that was weird. if there was a cross on it it's either they'reprotecting things from coming in or going OUT. we were freakedout but what was more that other statues fell down and werebowing to it. the statues were big so it's impossible for them tofall unless it was forced. but why would somebody do that? and ifit was an accident !
shouldn't they've put it back? five people could've lifted it up.
later at night we were all in the room talking when we heard asound, "tick tick tick" which in the philippines is asure sign of an evil spirit nearby. i was closest to the windowwhere i heard the sound so my best friend offered we share thesame bed (she was farthest from the window) so while i ran toher, it started again. a brave friend offered to close the windowmeaning she'd have to place her hand out. very creepy.
what was weirder when we were having our counselling at thechapel at about 7PM the church bell rang and many dogs howledtogether and flocks of birds flew which are signs in PhilippineLegends that SOMETHING is near and looking for SOMEONE...
