Apply a facial mask once a week. It will help remove dead skin, unclog pores and help prevent premature lines and wrinkles.
For rough skin, rub on a little egg white at bedtime and wash off in the morning.
When shaving, use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. It's a great moisturizer for your skin. The razor will glide easier and rinses better.
Add a few drops of olive oil to hard water to make the soap lather better and keep the skin from getting rough.
Take warm, not hot, baths and showers. Hot water is drying to the skin.
For dry skin on your feet, apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to your feet at bedtime and put on a pair of socks. In the morning remove the socks and remove the excess petroleum jelly.
To help with winter dry skin, use a humidifier in your home. An added bonus, moist air retains heat, reducing heating costs.
If you have dry skin, avoid caffeine. Caffeine tends to dehydrate the skin.
Apply a moisturizer when your skin is damp, right after a shower or bath to retain as much moisture as possible.
To help severely cracked winter skin, use Vaseline on hands and feet and cover with socks and mittens. It is hard to sleep this way, but the results are worth it!
Submitted by Tina W.If you want very soft, smooth, clean elbows-cut a lemon in half and squeeze most of the juice out. After you soak your fingernails in the juice to make them unbelievably clean, place your elbows in the lemon halves. You will be amazed! It works fairly well on knees and heels also, but of course, you have to rub those areas with the lemon halves in order to do the job. Soak your elbows for about 10 minutes and then rinse off the juice and bits of lemon. WOW!!!

After your shower or bath, dry off with baby oil to moisturize and make your skin soft.

If you want a tan, use a sunless tanning lotion. These lotions are a great way to have a tan year round without the harmful exposure to UV rays. Exfoliating your skin before applying helps to ensure an even tan.
For smoother and fairer skin, grate a carrot and boil. Massage the mixture into your skin on your body.
Be sure to wear a good sunscreen if you us a Retin A product. It can cause photo sensitivity and may increase discoloration caused by UV Rays, burning, itching, redness and rashes.
The best time to shave is right after a shower. The hot water will saturate the hair making it softer and easier to shave with less irritation.
Put wet teabags over your eyes to get rid of the dark circles!

Use the coarse side of a foot file and vigorously rub your heels before your shower or bath. For a smooth finish, repeat with the softer side of the file.
If you have rough elbows, do the same thing there. Use the softer side of the file if they're only slightly dry.For a sunburn, apply cool compresses for 10 to 15 minutes several times a day or a bath with tepid water and baking soda in the water may help relieve the pain. Then apply a soothing lotion.
