Crayfish are lobsterlike freshwater crustaceans that are found all over the world.

In the South and some western areas of United States,crayfish,are also called crawfish or crawdads.

The red swamp crayfish,from the Mississippi delta in Louisiana,is the largest native species.

The Maryland psychologists conclude that crayfish make an excellent,practical model for identifying the specific neural circuitry and neurochemistry of decision making.
